On Oct 17 2026 eMudhra disclosed that keys for 8 emSign intermediates were recoverable. Trust stores are dropping
emSign ECC Root CA - G3andAAA Certificate Services. Fixed versions: certifi 2026.10.19+, Alpine ca-certificates 20261020-r0 (3.18+ only), Debian bookworm 20250419~deb12u2, Go 1.26.10 / 1.27.3 (GO-2026-6809), Node 22.23.4 / 24.22.1 / 26.12.1. Node, certifi, the JDK and AWS CLI bundle their own roots, so an OS package update alone does not cover them.Changes
