The sitemap still advertises publication dates for blog posts that have a later explicit update date. Use the existing schema-validated updated date when present, and keep the publication date as the fallback.

Related to #1153. This does not invent modification dates for docs or other pages.

Compared source frontmatter with the production sitemap and found 14 published entries with later update dates that the sitemap ignored. For example, the supply-chain postmortem records an update on May 15 but its sitemap lastmod still says May 11.

A function-level fixture extracted the actual sitemap functions: the old source fails the updated-date expectation and the new source passes both updated-date and publication-date fallback cases. This is not a full application test. Normal commit hooks passed formatting, TypeScript, lint, unit, chat, and desktop checks. Exact deployed XML verification is pending.
