Comments and docblocks only, in two commits:

  • Fixes typos in inline comments: "aleady", "whit", "re-rendeers" (twice), "build-in", "sub meu", "has not support for descendent", "flate", "enqueing" and "Get's".
  • Corrects docblocks added in 7.2: the leftover half sentence in the two deprecated sitemap stylesheet filters ([64073]), @since 7.1.0 on WP_REST_Attachments_Controller::upload_from_url(), which replaced create_item_from_url() in 7.2 ([64492]), and the unaligned or undescribed parameters of wp_sanitize_html_kses() and two KSES helper methods ([64233]).

The "descendent" typo also exists in Gutenberg's lib/block-supports/settings.php.

Trac ticket: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/65860

Testing

  • php -l and PHPCS are clean on the changed PHP files.
  • vendor/bin/phpunit --group kses, --group sitemaps and --filter WP_Test_REST_Attachments_Controller pass.

* Remove the leftover half sentence from the deprecated sitemap stylesheet filter docs.
* Use `@since 7.2.0` for `WP_REST_Attachments_Controller::upload_from_url()`, which replaced `create_item_from_url()` in 7.2.
* Align and describe the parameters of `wp_sanitize_html_kses()` and of two helper methods of the HTML API based KSES implementation.

Follow-up to [64073], [64233], [64492].

See #65860.

Test using WordPress Playground

The changes in this pull request can previewed and tested using a WordPress Playground instance.

WordPress Playground is an experimental project that creates a full WordPress instance entirely within the browser.

Some things to be aware of

  • All changes will be lost when closing a tab with a Playground instance.
  • All changes will be lost when refreshing the page.
  • A fresh instance is created each time the link below is clicked.
  • Every time this pull request is updated, a new ZIP file containing all changes is created. If changes are not reflected in the Playground instance,
it's possible that the most recent build failed, or has not completed. Check the list of workflow runs to be sure.

For more details about these limitations and more, check out the Limitations page in the WordPress Playground documentation.

Test this pull request with WordPress Playground.
