Unreviewed submission. This PR was generated automatically from a plugin submission form and has not been reviewed. Do not merge until someone has verified the publisher, the MCP server, the skills, and the logo.

Adds third_party/frameos/, a FrameOS plugin (long video to captioned short clips, thumbnails, social copy and posting) with a hosted MCP server and eight skills.

Submission

Changes
plugin_url is a GitHub repository, so this copies the Cursor plugin it publishes (.cursor-plugin/plugin.json at commit dcca3bb).

  • third_party/frameos/mcp.json: the frameos server exactly as in the source Cursor manifest's inline mcpServers (type: http, https://frameos.studio/mcp, X-FrameOS-Plugin-Version header, pre-registered OAuth CLIENT_ID and scopes frameos:mcp, offline_access). Moved into a file so plugin.json can use "mcpServers": "./mcp.json".
  • third_party/frameos/skills/: the source repo's eight skills, copied unchanged (identical to its agent-plugin/skills/).
  • third_party/frameos/.cursor-plugin/plugin.json: name, version 0.1.1, description, keywords and tags from the source manifest. Author is FrameOS / [email protected], category integrations, "skills": "./skills/", "mcpServers": "./mcp.json", "logo": "assets/logo.png". repository points at cursor/plugins, matching other third-party entries.
  • third_party/frameos/README.md with install steps, the MCP block, and a skills table. LICENSE (MIT, FrameOS) copied from the source repo.
  • Appended an entry to .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json and a row to the root README table. .claude-plugin/marketplace.json is unchanged.

Logo
The submitted logo_url on frameos.studio failed the TLS handshake from the build VM. The committed assets/logo.png is assets/icon.png from the submitted repo (1024×1024 PNG, two lime bars on a near-black background), which is the logo the source Cursor manifest references. Please compare it against the submitted logo_url.

Notes for reviewers

  • The source repo is under the personal theSatvik account, not a FrameOS org. Its LICENSE and manifests name FrameOS and [email protected], which matches the submission contact.
  • The skills include curl commands for uploading a local video to a FrameOS upload link and downloading exported MP4s. I didn't see any hosts other than frameos.studio and the social platforms.
  • frameos.studio was not reachable from the build VM, so OAuth and tools were not exercised.
  • node scripts/validate-plugins.mjs passes.

Testing instructions (as submitted)
Add https://frameos.studio/mcp in Grok or Cursor and connect. We have a dedicated test account (email + password, no 2-step check) with credits and a finished project (NASA astronaut Q&A, 3 clips); email [email protected] and we send the login right away. Try:

  1. What's my FrameOS credit balance?
  2. Show the clips from my latest project.
  3. Export the rocket launch clip as an MP4.
  4. Make a YouTube thumbnail for it.
  5. Write a YouTube Shorts caption for it.

Posting always asks first. Docs: https://frameos.studio/plugin

Note

Medium Risk
Introduces a third-party OAuth integration that can spend user credits, upload video via shell/curl, and post to connected social accounts; behavior depends on FrameOS’s hosted MCP and skill instructions rather than in-repo code review alone.

Overview
Adds the FrameOS third-party plugin to the marketplace: a new third_party/frameos/ package plus entries in .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json and the root README.

The plugin wires Cursor to FrameOS’s hosted MCP server at https://frameos.studio/mcp via mcp.json (HTTP transport, plugin version header, OAuth with a pre-registered CLIENT_ID and frameos:mcp / offline_access scopes). The manifest (plugin.json v0.1.1, author FrameOS) points at eight skills under ./skills/—clip rendering, captions, thumbnails, publish, library, find-moments, repurpose, and setup—each with agent metadata and detailed workflow docs. Also includes plugin README, MIT license, and standard marketplace listing copy.
