- feat(product): add DISCOVERY/FEATURES/LANDING/PERSONAS/MARKET/COMPETITION/VOCABULARY specs — single source of truth for positioning, personas, and ranked feature set behind the README and website - docs(product): add dated research snapshots (feature-demand judging/verification, competitor messaging, community findings, AIO/SEO audits, naming verdicts) backing the specs above - docs(launches): add 2026-Q4 Hacker News launch draft - chore(gitignore): re-include .product/ with a negation rule — host-level global ignores no longer block adding it
- fix(ci): install libwim-dev before vet/test in the go-unit job — go-wimlib v0.2.0 moved its cgo bindings from an opt-in `wimlib` tag to the default `cgo` tag, making the pkg-config dependency mandatory for any cgo build; installs the real dependency (same recipe as go-winkit's CI) instead of disabling cgo, which would silently swap in the pure-Go stub - fix(release): point the goreleaser swag hook at api/swagger — cmd/serve.go has imported api/swagger since the engines rework, but both goreleaser configs still wrote to docs/, so every goreleaser build failed with a missing package and littered the tracked docs/ dir - chore(ci): rename the cell-build/cell-release jobs and their display names to devcell-* to match the product name
