Python 3.13 is now security-only and source-only.

After merging, GPGPassphrase and python-signing.key can be deleted from Azure Pipelines.

Hooray, no more GPG!

I feel like we should probably hold off on merging this for now, though, just in case there's a surprise that makes it worth another release.

I haven't been closely following the discussion about JIT, but should we be disabling that for new releases?

No decision yet.

The SC's 5th June pause announcement set a six-month window for a PEP to be submitted and resolved, or the JIT code must be removed. They later clarified it's not a hard deadline needing the code immediately ripping out.

But the PEP 836 authors withdrew their PEP last week, and another hasn't shown up (yet?).

We should know more in the next month or two.
